based upon a simple concept: that an organized and searchable data
base of taxpayer’s experiences with the IRS to identify every form of IRS abuse and misconduct. By documenting those aberrant cases with actual documented cases,
these documented cased will get the attention of the media and thereby get the attention of Congress. Once notified of the defects of the IRS in the administration of the tax law, it is expected that Congress will prevent those IRS abuses. It is also anticipated that the top management of the IRS will want to improve its administration of the tax law when they are confronted with the documented cases of abuses
of power, abuses of discretion, systemic problems, misapplication of the law, misconduct, and every other form of IRS administrative problem that needs correction.
The IRS Forum is your tool to stand up to the IRS by being part of a group of similarly situated taxpayers. The larger
the group, the larger the power you have to use the data as a tool to improve the tax law and the IRS.
